craig dorward
intern architect, AAA, MRAIC, LEED AP
Craig's interest is centered on the patterns of urban development, and how architecture can play a part in shaping city growth. Craig's thesis examined the population trend of people moving from rural to urban areas, and the pressures that city growth puts on arable land which surrounds it. The research explored urban farming and tested the viability of vertical farms. After spending time studying across western Canada, and abroad in Barcelona, Craig has re-established himself in his hometown of Edmonton. With a deep commitment to this city, Craig has a desire to build upon Edmonton's architectural heritage, and to influence the growth of Edmonton's landscape with his experiences of a global design culture.
